South Downs EF! ... It's in having groups of people around you who support you through it, and having that contact with friends basically, who do support each other. Also for me, going from the road protests, which I'm still doing, to something more sustainable like permaculture projects and things like that. I find that that gives you a vision of the future that you can see you're not just against but you're for something as well....

SchNews ... you got to laugh at yourself and everything. That is one of the main problems with political activists, they're up their own arse. And I know 'cause I was one of them, you know, vegan police. It's a stupid way to get, 'cause you just fucking grind yourself into the ground....

Reclaim the Streets - JB ... I constantly think, "My god, I'm so fucking lucky!" I mean, there must have been loads of people in anarchist groups who try and do actions where fifteen people turn up. Or people who are interested in Situationism and they spend their life writing pamphlets. And I was thinking, "Fucking hell man! I am so privileged to have met these people, to be living in a time when it's all coming together." So, when I see people burn out, I must say I do find it difficult to empathize. And I kind of think, "How could you burn out? This is so exciting!"...

Reclaim the Streets - Dee ... When you hear about other people linking up with you from other places in the world, when you hear of completely different organizations, who are not taking it on from you, but who are linking from somewhere else with you, such as the Zapatistas and Movimiento Sem Terra, and you hear what they've been doing, as just small groups of peasants, what they've actually managed to achieve. That's inspiring. That's stunning, some of the things they've managed to do. And then it is inspiring to hear of people who have actually taken off, using us as their inspiration. They heard about us on the Internet. That is an inspiration, too, to realize that people can pick up from such a little seed and then draw something out of themselves to do something wonderful...
